GRATEFUL.... this was the sun setting on 2016 in one of my favourite spots on this planet. Gratefulness is a powerful reality. It releases life and hope in to our tomorrows. I have much to be grateful for this past year. Regardless of my (or your) disappointments, not knowing or understanding why things have happened or haven't turned out like we were anticipating and hoping for... we can be sure just as the sun sets for the last time in 2016, that it will rise again in this year. Again and again and again. His mercies are new and fresh every morning. Above all I am grateful that my heart is anchored in the reality and love of Jesus.
Regardless of your faith or personal persuasion, my wish is that you will have the ability to recognise what you have to be thankful for in the 366 days just gone, that we will be able to hold on to what is good and true and have fresh vision and hope for the days ahead.
May 2017 be a wild adventure of life for you and me, our hearts stirred with passion and compassion. Do feel free to journey with me or pop in from time to time to taste and see.
